News: Massachusetts Clean Energy Center Awards University of Massachusetts Amherst and Aqua Metrology Systems a Grant to Develop an Online Raw-Water THM-Precursor Analyzer

Aqua Metrology Systems and University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass Amherst), have partnered to develop a robust online raw-water trihalomethanes (THMs) -precursor analyzer. On 23 January 2018 they received a commitment from Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) through its AmplifyMass program to cost share in the development and assessment of this new online THM-Precursor analyzer.

Case Study: Arizona Facility Uses Ammonia-Laden Centrate for THM Control

The Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department is using the THM-100™ to optimize its chlorine injection process. The Tres Rios Water Reclamation Facility is using ammonia-laden centrate for THM control. The THM-100 monitor enables the facility to optimize its chlorine injection process and minimize the formation of THMs in its effluent water by providing the operational staff with immediate and accurate daily reports on THM levels.
