MetalGuard™

MetalGuard™ is the first fully automated online trace metals analyzer for monitoring municipal and industrial water and wastewater. The system provides real-time, multi-stream analysis for a range of trace metal contaminants.

MetalGuard delivers accurate and reliable results (up to 1 ppb or ± 15%, whichever is higher) with a typical measurement time of fewer than 30 minutes. The system also allows for manually collected samples to be analyzed.

MetalGuard™ Lead Alert!™

A novel automated and unattended real-time lead corrosion risk management system for monitoring the risk of exposure to lead contamination.

The analyzer provides rapid analysis of the safety of drinking water in homes, schools, day-cares exposed to the risk of lead contamination. It is designed to be used independently or in conjunction with SafeGuard™ Lead for rapid low-cost analysis of locations predicted to be  at risk for an increase in contamination risk.

Trace Metal Monitoring: How to Maximize Monitoring Results with Minimum Effort

Rick Bacon, CEO of Aqua Metrology Systems, discussed the value of real-time, high-frequency metals monitoring during the Sensileau webinar in January 2020, “Metals Monitoring in Water.” The presentation focused on the AMS MetalGuard™ multi-stream online trace metal analyzer, which provides automated, unattended measurement of trace metal contaminants such as Arsenic, Chromium-6, Lead, Selenium and more across municipal and industrial sectors.

Veolia & AMS Instrumentation Validated by Battelle

In 2014 the Air Force was concerned about possible Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) violations pertaining to total coliform and disinfection by-products at a number of their facilities. On behalf of the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) Battelle conducted a demonstration and validation of real time water quality monitoring technologies manufactured by Veolia and Aqua Metrology Systems to develop a comprehensive water monitoring approach to proactively address concerns pertaining to potential SDWA violations. Battelle operated the technologies from May 2015 through August 2016, the instruments proved successful and could be transitioned to broader Air Force use. An overview of the demonstration and validation project has been compiled into a presentation.
