Aqua Metrology Systems

AWWA, NJ

Despite adverse weather attendance at the Conference was good and with several utilities in the area facing DBP Stage 2 compliance challenges interest in the THM-100 was high. In this region the presence of consecutive systems makes compliance even more challenging for retail systems. Federal and State Regulatory bodies are showing a lot of interest in the THM-100 as they can see its usefulness in tracking rapid changes in THM levels across a utility’s system and water quality issues at transfer points in consecutive systems. The publication of Water and Waste Digest (http://www.wwdmag.com/monitoring/monitoring-old-bridge) of a case study from Old Bridge which is using the THM-100 to manage the quality of the water it buys from a local wholesaler generated considerable interest.
